Truck Wash Guys Visit the Ports

The WashGuys clean cargo containers at many terminals on the East Coast. Most East Coast Ports took a big hit after 9-11 and some terminals were down as much as 30%, ouch. Since then cargo container trade has risen back to nearly the same level as pre-9-11. Recently things have been a little shaky on the West Coast as Long Shoremen decided to strike after new technology threatened to cut jobs at the West Coast Ports.

Fearing this could adversely affect our Truck Washing Business, we went to take a look ourselves and as of October 30, 2002, the bottle neck has continued causing the slowing of both imports and exports and has also hurt our agricultural services business. Click here for more.

Also hurt were our chances to break into the Cargo Ship washing industry, a lucrative industry which lends itself well to the Boat Wash Guys Division of WashGuys.  As Industry and Labor fight over hours of operation, money, safety and technology, America waits to see how this will effect Agricultural Shipments, parts for manufacturing, trucking, railroad, transportation, energy shipments of oil and our over all trade deficits with the Pacific Rim.
