Warner Trucking Follows Truck Wash Guys into
Technology Future
Warner Trucking tries the net-centric approach
to moving freight.

This million dollar truck and trailer, which is
outfitted with many similar technologies to the WashGuys Mobile Command Center, was
recently visiting the American Institute of Technology and Truck Driving School in North
Las Vegas. Many may not appreciate the value of this technology in a low-tech industry such
as trucking, but we do. Because in truck washing, we are low-tech as well.
The system aboard the Warner Technology Truck
allows it to track every single truck in their company, as close as the nearest
intersection. It can determine if a truck is on time, and its speed and fuel consumption.
It would be nearly impossible for a hijacked or stolen truck from Warner to be used by
international terrorists. The trucking industry has come a long way since 9-11. This truck
features the same satellite intelligence features as our own Wash Guys Mobile Command
Center.
Warner Trucking is the fifth largest pure trucking company in North America,
with 8140 tractor trailer units. By using a Qualcomm-built satellite link in every truck,
uploading that information to the satellite, then downloading to the Internet and land
servers and back to the satellite via Hughes, information on truck in their fleet can be
downloaded to the technology trailer at speeds often exceeding 1500 kbs. This same exact
system is on Blitz Mobile II of Team Wash Guys.
